Availability
Camp is used by Young Life from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Camp is available for rent outside of this time frame. We provide three levels of booking:
- Exclusive use group (375+)
- Primary group (200+)
- Secondary group (50-200)
Lake Champion reserves the right to book secondary groups on weekends when there is no exclusive-use group.

Please remember that we do not allow alcohol or pets anywhere in camp.
A number of weekends during the school season at Lake Champion are run by the Princeton Institute for Youth Ministry (PIYM). PIYM offers opportunities for smaller groups to enjoy weekends together at Lake Champion. A large number of these smaller groups are church youth groups. If you're interested in joining a PIYM weekend, please contact the Lake Champion office.

Housing Options
Camper Lodges: Catskill and Stoneridge

Stoneridge and Catskill are set up almost identical in terms of room structure and set up. Catskill lodge is located to the left side of the camper lodges and Stoneridge is located right next to Catskill on the left side of the lodge loop. They are traditionally used to house male campers
Stoneridge is equipped with a handicap entrance and room 4 is handicap accessible. Catskill Lodge is complete with a balcony that overlooks the lobby. Both lodges include a lobby giving a warm feeling with the inviting gas fireplace, rustic furniture and large windows looking towards the lake.
Each lodge can hold 96 people in 8 rooms. Rooms 1, 4, 5 and 8 house 10 and rooms 3, 4, 6 and 7 house 14. There are bunks, cubbies, drawers and a place to hang clothes available for every camper. Every room comes with a private bathroom, Stoneridge bathrooms have a door that can join 2 rooms together if desired. The larger rooms have 3 sinks, 2 showers and 2 toilets while the smaller rooms have 2 sinks, 2 showers and 1 toilet.
Camper Lodges: Brookview and Ferndale

Brookview and Ferndale are traditionally used to house female campers. Ferndale is the second lodge on lodge loop and Brookview is located third. Each lodge is equipped with a handicap entrance and room 1 is handicap accessible. Both lodges have a lobby downstairs and upstairs. Both are equipped with small tables, comfortable seating and large windows looking out towards camp.
Each lodge can hold 96 people in 8 rooms. Rooms 1, 4, 5 and 8 house 10 people and rooms 3, 4, 6, and 7 house 14 people. Camper Lodges: Mtn Laurel and Fish Creek

Mtn. Laurel and Fish Creek are our two newest lodges. Mtn. Laurel is traditionally used to house female campers, it is located first on the loop around the lodges. Fish Creek is traditionally used to house male campers and is located as the furthest lodge to the left.
There are four cabins that sleep 12 people in each lodge, two located on each floor. The first floor of each is handicap accessible. There are two lobbies, one on each floor with seating and a small table. Fish Creek includes a porch looking over the lake.
Fox Run

Fox Run is located between the gym and Eagle Point. During the summer months Fox Run houses the work crew and summer staff, but during the school season it is available for use as a camper lodge.
The lobby at Fox Run is designed with comfort in mind, from the ample seating space, large windows looking at camp to the gas fireplace that comes on with the flick of a switch. There is also a half bath, work tables, sink area and a private phone room in the lobby.
There are 8 bedrooms, 4 upstairs and 4 downstairs, that each hold 14 campers in bunk style beds. Each room has a private bath that contains 3 sinks, 3 showers and 2 toilets. The rooms can be linked by unlocking a door in the bathrooms. Room 4 is handicap accessible in this building.
More Privacy? Along with the camper rooms there are also two apartments that can be setup as either twin beds or a king bed. One apartment is linked to the upstairs of the main building and the other has a separate entrance and sitting room. Both apartments include a private bath.
Lake House

Lake House, our Adult Guest Lodge, is situated on the lake with a beautiful view from the large windows and walk out deck. Complete with a great room, kitchen, outdoor patio, boat dock and seven suites, the Lake House offers the premiere lodging experience at Lake Champion.
The great room has lots of large comfortable seating options as well as a large stone fireplace. Multiple sets of French doors open up to the back deck which offers a beautiful view of the lake.
The seven suites can be configured either with a king bed or with two twin beds. There are five rooms that have private baths attached, and two rooms attached by a suite bathroom.
During the summer, the lodge is reserved exclusively for Adult Guests to come check out a week of camp.
Guests must be at least 21 years old to stay in the lodge.
Springbrook

During the summer this building houses the doctor and family while in the school season it can be used as housing for your group.
Springbrook has three rooms, downstairs has one room with a queen bed and one with two twins, as you go up the loft-type stairs there is a room with a queen and two twin beds.
Springbrook has one bathroom situated next to the closet that houses a stackable washer and dyer.
Springbrook has a large open room with a few couches and a rustic dining table. The kitchen is joined to the great room, separated by a counter.
Eagle Point

Eagle Point is one of our newest lodges with expansive views of camp center and Lake Champion. This pristine building includes 20 family style bedrooms, a toddler room, a full kitchen, and a great room with a massive stone fireplace. Eagle Point has an adjoining playground, large stone patio and fire pit.
Facilities
Be sure to get some rest in one of our excellent dorms, filled with bunk beds! You'll need lots of energy for a fun week at camp!
Millbrook is home to our camp store, snack bar, and game room! Grab a milkshake and challenge some friends to a game of ping-pong!
Activities
Swing off Mayr's Leap, challenge yourself on our high ropes course or climbing wall then grab a couple friends for a ride on our giant 3-person swing.
Fly down one of our waterslides (seasonal) or relax in the hot tub. Then head over to the game room for a game of fooseball or ping pong.
Soar through the air on one of our ziplines, go paddle boarding, canoeing or kayaking (seasonal).
Play a round of disc golf or head to our sand courts for volleyball.
Accessibility
We welcome kids of all abilities to our camps. At Lake Champion, all of our main buildings are accessible to strollers or wheelchairs, and we have a handful of cabins that are designed to be accessible (special housing needs may be requested by your child's trip leader).
Walkways around camp are paved. We will also do our best to help every guest participate in activities. We want every kid to have the best week of their life as they come to camp!
